Where is the redness?

Localised redness of the sclera. It can be hard to differentiate this from episcleritis, but the engorged vessels tend to be more ‘beefy’ and appear deeper than in episcleritis

No

Pupil?

Normal

Is the cornea clear?

Yes

Conjunctival appearance?

Normal, but the underlying sclera is inflamed and may have a white, avascular, necrotic patch.
